My friend Gerhard from Germany asked me to build a walkthrough regarding the G-Remote, with part list, schematics and code. And here it is. Enjoy :D

Great tutorial,
I’m think on a similar remote but I would like to use IR transmitter/receiver to save size, battery, and components. I does have other problems (the controlled object must be in line of sight) but it would be smaller..
Great idea and good work.

Thanks João :)
The reason I didn’t made an IR remote is because I need a higher range.
Take a look into this one made by OddBot, It was where I get the inspiration: http://letsmakerobots.com/node/5492
